New Build Dwellings - Accreditation


Overview - Requirements

Currently, it is not a requirement for individuals to become Accredited to produce legally valid New Build EPCs in Scotland. However, Elmhurst Energy do offer comprehensive software and training for individuals that wish to produce EPCs in Scotland. Full details of our SAP software and Design SAP 2005 & Building Regulations Awareness (Scotland) training course can be found by using the 'software' and 'training' buttons located at the bottom of this page.

 

If you chose to undertake the Elmhurst Design SAP 2005 & Building Regulations Awareness (Scotland) training course, you will be eligible to receive the following benefits from Elmhurst:

After satisfactorily completing 2 test cases after the course the term ' unaccedited user' will no longer appear on any printouts from the software.

 

New Build EPCs in England, Wales and Northern Ireland

Unlike Scotland, it is a legal mandatory requirement that individuals looking to produce New Build EPCs in England, Wales and Northern Ireland must be Accredited. Elmhurst Energy is a Government approved Accreditation body and has Accredited over 4000 Energy Assessors to date.
