WHAT DO THE CHANGES MEAN FOR NEW BUILD HOUSING?
Changes to Section 6 of the Building Regulations were published in April 2010 and will come into force in October of this year in Scotland. The revision is in response to the European EPBD (Energy Performance in Buildings Directive) and goes some way to meet the Government’s plans for zero carbon homes. Elmhurst, as the leading provider of SAP Software and Accreditation, is supporting the industry in preparing for the changes through a series of detailed workshops. These will provide delegates with an in depth understanding of how to implement the changes in regulations for new build dwellings.
