Elmhurst Part L1 2010 & SAP 2009 Seminars
WHAT DO THE CHANGES MEAN FOR NEW BUILD HOUSING?
Changes to Part L1 of the Building Regulations were published in April 2010 and will come into force in October of this year in England and Wales. Part L covers ‘Conservation of Fuel and Power’ and applies to new buildings and certain types of work in existing buildings. The revision is in response to the European EPBD (Energy Performance in Buildings Directive) and goes some way to meet the Government’s plans for zero carbon homes.
Elmhurst, as the leading provider of SAP Software and Accreditation, is supporting the industry in preparing for the changes through a series of detailed workshops. These will provide delegates with an in depth understanding of how to implement the changes in regulations for new build dwellings.
Who should attend?
The workshops are specifically designed for professionals in the construction industry who are interested in understanding the changes and how they apply to new build dwellings including Building Control Officers, On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors and users of the Elmhurst SAP software.
